What is included in your wedding videography packages?

Accepted Answer

Every package covers your full day, from morning prep right through to the dancefloor madness. You’ll get a cinematic highlight film, about 5–7 minutes long, full edit of the first dance, and digital delivery. My Platinum package also includes full edits of your ceremony, and speeches as well.

Question 2

How long does it take to get our films?

Accepted Answer

During the day I'll be filming hours worth of footage which takes a while to get through and craft the perfect wedding film. Usually you will receive your films within 12–16 weeks after the wedding. This can be longer during peak season though but you will be kept up to date if any delays.

Question 3

Can we meet or video chat before the wedding?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! I think it's important we get to know each other before your wedding so you have full confidence on the day. It's also especially useful to meet at the venue if possible at the same time. Then you can show me your favourite spots and any specific details I might want to be aware of ahead of time.

Question 4

Do you film the full ceremony and speeches?

Accepted Answer

Yes always! During your ceremony and speeches I use multiple cameras to capture a range of angles so everything’s captured in full, with pro audio, so you can watch it all back exactly as it happened. Laughs, tears, dodgy best man jokes, it's all in there.

Only the Platinum package includes these edits though. Or you can purchase them at a later date if you wish.

What’s your filming style? Posed or natural?

As I said on the home page and the about me, your wedding day isn't a film set! So for the most part I'll be capturing everything exactly as it happens. But for certain moments I may step in and add a bit of direction. Like getting the tiny little details in the morning whilst you're putting your earrings in or finishing that last button on your dress. Your photographer will most likely lead your group photos and couples shots which I will follow along with.

I know what it's like, you want these moments, but you also want to get back to the dancefloor and party!

Question 6

Do you offer drone footage?

This totally depends! Providing the weather is clear and the venue are happy then yes I'll film drone footage for your highlight film. But don't worry, your wedding film will be just as epic even without it!

Question 7

How do we book?

Accepted Answer

It’s super simple. Just fill out my contact form, and I’ll check your date. To secure the booking, it’s a 30% booking fee and a signed contract. That’s it, easy right!

Question 8

Do you charge travel fees?

Accepted Answer

Travel within 25 miles of Chesterfield is included. Basically anywhere around North East Derbyshire & South Yorkshire, including Chesterfield, Sheffield, Nottingham, Mansfield & Derby. If you’re further afield or planning a destination wedding, I’ll quote a fair rate up front—no surprises.

Question 9

Can we add a second shooter?

Yes, and it’s a great option for bigger weddings or when both morning preparations are happening in different places. Just ask when booking and I’ll give you all the details.

Question 10

Do you work well with my photographer?

Accepted Answer

Totally! We're both there to capture your day. I make sure we’re in sync so neither of us gets in each other’s way, and your photos and film both turn out amazing. During your group and couple photos, your photographer will mostly take the lead.

Question 11

Do you require a meal?

After a full day filming, a quick bite goes a long way and helps me stay focused (and friendly!) through the evening party. Most venues offer a "suppliers' meal" which is different to your guest menu and is usually just a main meal, it’s just a thoughtful gesture if you're able to arrange it.
